Full Cancellation Policy
Once the lease agreement is signed, students are legally obligated to fulfill it. They do have the option to sublet or relet (i.e., lease takeover) their space. The only time a refund is permitted is if the student applies and pays last month's rent (Ontario) or first month's rent (Quebec) and then decides to withdraw their application prior to signing the lease. Please note that Centennial requires a Security Deposit and an Application Fee. The Application Fee is not refundable.
Once they find a candidate for their space, they need to complete a Sublet Agreement (provided by management) in the case the tenant wishes to sublet or if it's a lease takeover, then the candidate will need to apply and pay either first or last month's rent to receive a lease agreement.
Should a tenant have any questions with either of these processes during their stay, they are welcome to connect with management who will guide them through the process.
